JESUS USED NETWORKING
2,000 YEARS AGO
Jesus Used Networking? I woke up about a Year ago around 1am. and could not get back to sleep, so I opened my Bible and started to read.
Now I'm not saying this was a Revelation from God, but as I read these verses it just came together and I thought I'd share them with You.
Jesus hand picked his network partners.
Matthew 4:19 and He said unto them, follow me and I will make you fishers of men.
Jesus went about collecting 12 ordinary men into his ministry; He did not go to the prominent religious leaders of His time. Jesus knew that the Scribes and Pharisee's could not grasp the new teachings he was about to bring to the world. (They were indoctrinated to think only one way).
Much like we have become today, job security, work, pay, retirement, but as we all know the job security and retirement our parents relied on; No Longer Exists. As Jesus Used Networking He had to Find Men that Could Think OUT OF THE BOX.
Jesus knew that there was a great harvest ahead.
Matthew 9:37-38 The harvest is truly plenteous, but the laborers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest.
Jesus taught his disciples that they were not going to accomplish the task before them without help. He wanted them to rely on the Father for the laborers to accomplish this increase.
Today we have the ability to communicate coast-to-coast and worldwide via the Internet and Phone Services. Not that we don't need to rely on our Father, but we have something much faster than our feet to deliver the message.
Jesus wanted his disciples to understand that through networking they would see increases they had nothing to do with.
John 4:37-38 One soweth, and another reaps. I sent you to reap whereon ye have not labored; other men labored, and ye are entered into their labors.
The term Laborers, denote that there was work to be done, but not always to be accomplished by a single worker.
Interesting enough is the fact that we are joined into their labors even though we did not do their job, when Jesus used Networking He was insuring the Disciples understood they was going to see increases they had nothing to do with.
"Sounds like Modern Day Network Marketing to me".
Jesus had a clear and precise message he wanted delivered.
Matthew 28:19-20 Believe therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.
What a daunting task. Deliver the message to all nations. Not that we have the salvation of the world riding on our shoulders but how would you file something like that? The message was simple enough teach them everything I have taught you in the last three years.
Jesus Used Networking 2000 years ago and the message is still going around the world today; what a testament to networking. It's so simple, show people what you have learned by example for duplication.
Jesus was into relationship building. John 15:15-16 henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his Lord doeth: but I have called you Friends for all things I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain.
Friends are the most important relationships we build beyond God and Family.
When we help our Friends build a business that brings forth fruit in their lives, and they in turn are able to bless their family and friends, we have accomplished what we've set out to do.
Yes I really believe Jesus used Networking, the message was different but He gave it to His Disciples who spread His Message throughout the world.
