The first time I had this thought about SEO Vs Search Engines it was fleeting and I didn't spend much time thinking about it.
Over a couple of years it really has opened my eyes to the Search Engine Optimization Industry. Allow me to give you a snap shot of this industry.
SEO Vs Search Engines. The scenario plays out something like this. The Search Engines keeps trudging along perfecting their Algorithms day in day out, in their quest to recognize the quality and reality of a Website.
Sometimes the changes in the Algorithms are small and barley noticeable. But once in a while the Search Engines drops a BOMB that sends the SEOers into a scramble to counter the Search Engines Algorithm change.
At first glimpse, this is devastating, but with their Millions at Risk they will not take this laying down, they through out every thing possible including the kitchen sink to counter the Search Engines Algorithm change.
They set up their WAR Room spread out the maps and put their programmers to work, to find a solution "any solution". Theory after Theory bounces around the Forums until someone finds a band aid for the wound.
But wait, hold on there Buck-a-Roo, all is not lost. Even though some of their information has just become outdated; they have a Brand New Multi Million Dollar "PRODUCT to LAUNCH". And you can bet your last Dollar the Pre-Launch Hype will be Spectacular. In rides the SEOers on their White Stallions to save the day "AGAIN" and this time it is only going to cost you $199.95
You may think all of this would be to help out the Poor Website Owners (Their Story).
But in reality it is about the MONEY, "BIG MONEY", and the first to launch this new life-saving product has it Rolling in by the Truck Loads.
The SEO Vs Search Engines Advertising industry is by far one of the best oiled machines on the Internet today. Sure they have come up with another short lived fix "that in reality wasn't needed in the first place".
Rest assured they are poised for the next
Search Engine BOMB.
Contrary to what the SEOers want You to Believe the Search Engines are not in the business of making Website Owners lives Miserable.
The SE are just looking for legitimate Websites that are Reality Based and has Quality Information that is Keyword Targeted that Your Website Visitors can sink their teeth into. What's Wrong With That?
Why not give the Search Engines what they are looking for; it is most certainly Cheaper and less Time Consuming than Search Engines Optimization.
Here's a concept; you can actually spend time Building Your Business, instead of chasing the ever changing Algorithms.
Instead of tweaking your site to meet the Algorithms (counterfeiting).
You can create a Website that is Optimized (WSO) with Great Content that meets the Search Engines long range goals (REALITY).
It's OK to step off the SEO band wagon I did, and I didn't fall off the world or any thing serious like that.
I had to shake all of those ##NUMBERS## out of my Head and come to the Realization I had spent a Ton of hard earned MONEY on the BIG SEO Vs Search Engines Lie.
I was sold on SEO and every new product launch brought with it promises of Riches ALMOST as empty as my wallet.
I really believe someone needs to start a 12 step program for recovering SEOers. I can see it now; Hi I'm Daniel and I'm an Search Engines Optimization'er, I've chased Algorithms and couldn't stop myself.

The SEOers have convinced THOUSANDS of PEOPLE that the Search Engines guidelines are so difficult, No one can play by their rules and win. This is a flat out lie from the
SEOers

Something I read years ago in a legal document has stuck with me to this day; "just because someone say's something is true, doesn't always make it true" and the SEO Vs Search Engines fits this to a T.
You don't have to believe me, but you should investigate what I have said.
